More Than Just Friends

More Than Just Friends
Friends are an integral part of any move. I know this from experience, since my husband and I have moved numerous times. And this latest move back to my hometown of Murphy, North Carolina is no different. Moving to a new town means leaving old friends behind but also making new ones. For us, moving back to our hometown has given us an opportunity to renew old friendships as well as given us a chance to make new ones. It has been an honor and privilege for me to be able to do both, right here in our office. Mick and Jane Goebel are two people that my husband and I have been able to get to know a little better over these last few months and just as a disclaimer: I work for Mick and Jane – and let me tell you, there couldn't be anyone more qualified to sell your home or property or to help you buy a home or land than these two! They are realtor's with heart, integrity and knowledge. You'll walk away from every encounter with them singing their praises - they are just genuine folks who know their stuff! So if you are looking for a home or land or if you need to sell your property, look no further- Mick and Jane Goebel can make it happen for you!  And I’m sure that by the end of any encounter with these two, you will not only call them your Realtor’s, you’ll also call them FRIENDS too!

They have been in Murphy, NC for nearly 20 years. They say it’s the best move they ever made! They became licensed Realtors in 2004 and have been Lifetime Members of the Million Dollar Club since 2009. I’m excited to introduce you to them and I can honestly say, I am thrilled to have made new friends with two such wonderful people. Mick and Jane Goebel are kind and generous and hard working –and their clients will tell you that they are great at what they do!

In the Eye of the Storm

In the Eye of the Storm

As we all know, our friends to the south of us are in harm’s way and we pray for safety for all of those fleeing the storm and those that have already evacuated.  Our South Carolina, Georgia and Florida friends have their own struggles when it comes to the weather.  Just as we, here in North Carolina have ours; the cold, snow, and ice in the winter and the tornadoes in the spring.  No matter where you choose to live, you will find good things and not so good things.  Weather or whatever it is, it’s a balancing act –  and we must learn to deal with the good and the bad.  It’s good to know that here in Murphy, NC and the surrounding areas, you’ll find good friends to help you through whatever comes your way.  Just as I know our friends in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida have friends to help in time of trouble also.

When relocating, there’s one thing money can’t buy and that’s good neighbor’s!  We, here at The Goebel Team, know that when we help you find your forever home, we aren’t just helping you find a house.  We are helping you find and fit into a community!  And that community, no matter how small or large, will be there with you to enjoy the thrilling times of life but will also be there to help each other during the hard times too.  Just as I know our friends to the south are finding comfort in the help of neighbors and friends, both far and near.

So, during this time of uncertainty for so many, may we lift up our prayers for them all and do what we can to help!   And here’s how you can help- follow this link to the safety check page on Facebook and either mark yourself safe to let your friends and family know or ask your friends and family if they are safe!   If we all do what we can, it makes the hard times a little easier!

Dear friends, our thoughts and prayers are with you
– The Goebel Team, Mick and Jane
